4 Seasonal Collections for Livestock / i.e.
2016-2017
Livestock is the O.G, the largest independent sneaker retailer in Canada, with roots in the skate and street culture scenes dating back more than 20 years. As Livestock’s creative director and head designer of their in-house label, i.e., I was responsible for designing a line of Made in Canada wardrobe staples. The 50-piece seasonal collection featured knits, wovens, outerwear and accessories produced at local factories in Vancouver, with fabrics primarily sourced from Japan, along with heritage fabrics from the U.K and U.S.A. All patterns were custom-developed in-house.
While each season took on different inspirations, the brand’s overarching theme was refined utilitarianism. Each design had to meet strict criteria, with functional detailing, premium materials and active-oriented patterning as essential components.
*Please note: This page is still a work in progress. I could have hidden it but felt it was important to show the full-scope apparel design as part of my body of work.
