"Rhythm" by Livestock for Adidas Consortium

A collaboration celebrating the Livestock community and some of the uniquely talented individuals within. “The best make it look effortless, executing each task with an inherent rhythm.” I proposed the concept and developed the designs for Livestock and Adidas stakeholders before its release in 2016.
The Livestock Pureboost ZG was Adidas’ first introduction of the Pureboost ZG and its combo EVA / Boost midsole. Reflecting the Canadian outpost’s nightlife and graffiti culture roots, the design features a speckled black Primeknit upper and a stretch-mesh crimson band to secure the foot. A ‘spray painted’ 3-Stripe moniker gains patina with time. Other features include a nubuck heel counter and red nylon heel tab, with Livestock brand placements on the tongue, insole, and laces.
The second style in this capsule, The Livestock Samba, puts a unique lens on Adidas’ quintessential black and white Samba. Donning a long-hair suede for the upper and a ‘spray painted’ 3-Stripes on the lateral side consistent with the Pureboost ZG.
