Carry Goods

Bag Collection for Norse Projects
October 2013

In 2013, I developed a range of simple carry goods as a premium alternative to the fast-growing Herschel and Eastpak options that flooded the market.

While the silhouettes have a familiar aesthetic, this range prioritizes hidden functionality and increased durability. Each bag features intelligent segregation of space including easy access pockets for small gadgets and padded laptop compartments.

The initial release was produced in waterproof ballistic Cordura, with Italian tubular webbing and a structural PU-coated canvas protecting the base. High grade steel hardware was used throughout, with custom-developed tri-glide sliders and rifle clips accompanied by foolproof YKK waterproof zips.

I attended two international fairs to source suppliers for this new category, and traveled to China in late 2012 to oversee the prototyping and development. The program was designed as an evolving pack with the option to easily apply different fabrics season to season corresponding with the apparel collection.
