Performance Patchwork.
Arc'teryx x Livestock Superterranean Collection
January 2017
Paying tribute to both Arc’teryx and Livestock’s origins in the Pacific Northwest, the Superterranean reflected both brands’ appreciation for nature and commitment to preserving it. After developing the concept, I worked closely with the Arc’teryx team to source surplus and deadstock Goretex Paclite fabrics from previous seasons to create the standout piece for this capsule — a seam-sealed Beta SL jacket in “patchwork camo”. This shell jacket sold out within hours and has consistently ranked as one of Arc’teryx’s best collaborative pieces, with resale values skyrocketing in recent years.
It was a privilege to conceptualize and design all aspects of this project, working with one of the best technical outerwear makers in the world. In addition to the shell jacket, I created print artwork for a range of best-selling baselayers. I was able to apply my experience in concept, sourcing, graphics, apparel design, and creative direction toward a memorable project.
